Small but perfectly formed - CliftonWood, Bristol

This tiny courtyard garden in Cliftonwood Bristol measures only about five by six metres. Smart design and precision detailed construction was essential as every inch of space was at a premium!

After

The brief was to create a contemporary courtyard with as much space as possible with storage for four bikes and the all important barbecue. Black limestone paving contrasts beautifully with the balau hardwood deck and steps. Gorgeous Western Red Cedar was used to create a completely bespoke storage shed and contemporary fencing...

Low maintenance transformation - Fishponds, Bristol

We had to quite literally cut our way in to even access this overgrown and neglected garden! After a fight with a giant Pyracantha shrub and several van loads of waste later, we had a blank canvas to implement our clients wish-list...

Our client with limited mobility, wanted a very low maintenance and easy to access garden. Simple yet beautiful sandstone paving wraps around the house giving easy access to the garden from the conservatory and side garage. The second patio will catch the best of the afternoon and evening sun and strong, sturdy new featheredge fencing wraps two of the garden boundaries. Artificial grass means plenty of lush green colour with no more mowing worries and the chunky timber raised beds will be planted and maintained by our expert teams...


Contemporary family garden - Redland, Bristol

This small garden in Redland, Bristol had been unusable for years. The brief was to create a space that catered for both the kids and the grown ups (including a BIG trampoline!)...

After

Sleeper raised beds ready for planting, bespoke fencing, a little patch of artificial lawn, gorgeous blue-black natural limestone paving and that massive trampoline for the kids! Quite the transformation...


Berkeley Suites communal garden - Clifton, Bristol

Before

Our clients at Quarter LTD were renovating a stunning georgian property in Clifton, Bristol and needed the communal garden area to match the high quality building...

After

The area was cleared the levelled and the borders rebuilt using stones recycled onsite. The borders were replanted with a mixture of shrubs and colourful scented Lavenders. A newly planted evergreen hedge will soon screen off the unsightly view of neighbouring rooftops and a selection of flowering cherry trees sit in a neat row on the lush new carpet of grass...


Total rejuvenation - Redland, Bristol

Before

This garden in Redland, Bristol was in desperate need of an overhaul. The old timber retaining wall and decking was completely rotten and the borders had gone rampant...

After

The timber wall was ripped out and replaced with custom cut, treated timbers. The rotten decking was removed and replaced with a new patio and stone bench. Borders were cleared and replanted with a stylish selection of plants for year round interest, breathing new life into this lovely outdoor space.


Turf and timber - Portishead

This Portishead garden was looking tired. There was a lot of timber in need of treatment and the worn out lawns were to be removed and re-laid...

After

The decking, fencing and timber walls were cleaned and treated with timber preservative. The tired, lumpy old lawn was removed, the ground thoroughly prepared and fresh new hard wearing turf laid to withstand the wear and tear of family life...


Beer garden - Keynsham, Bristol
