Hand Tied Bouquet Workshop

Learn the art of floristry techniques that guarantees a professional looking bouquet with local florist, Louise Bastow.

No previous experience of flower arranging is required, you’ll learn through both demonstration and hands-on practise in small groups of fewer than 10 people. Louise will also show you an easy way to gift wrap your flowers, turning them into a delightful present to receive.

All equipment is provided, including seasonal British grown flowers and foliage that has been either picked from Louise’s own allotment or bought from a local flower farmer.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this community could be for you. We will be hosting a new seasonal networking event for passsionate horticulturalists in Bristol and the surrounding area.

This will be the perfect opportunity to gain the benefits of being part of a wider team to knowledge share, collaborate and have lots of plant chat with!

Here's what we've got planned:

  • Guest Speaker: Hear from local horticultural speaker Charlotte Howard about Garden Design.

  • Horticulture updates: Everything and anything new in the world of horticulture, got a contribution? Let us know!

  • Networking: Find others to buddy up with, job, tool and knowledge share.

  • Buying cooperative: Before the event, we'll send out a list of plants and compost we're going to be ordering over the coming weeks. Send us your request and we can make the order and receive it. Buying in greater quantities will give us a bigger sway over prices.
